PUROPSE

This website has been created to be a resource for all esoteric students all over the world. Arhatic Alchemy is not a representative of any esoteric organization We here believe in seeking the Truth. We do recommend certain systems and a list of teachers in order to accelerate your spiritual growth. But we do not practice credulity or promote one system above others or glorify a particular system as the ultimate Truth. Since credulity breeds credulity leading to hypocrisy, we are trying to make this platform a transparent resource for all esoteric students without any form of spiritual bias and esoteric dogma.

The purpose of Arhatic Alchemy is to be a beacon of light for all esoteric students so that they can understand the dangers of the path and tread it successfully by avoiding any mishaps that are so common on the path. This path is the path to discipleship which has been referred to as the path of the Razor’s edge by many enlightened Masters. We encourage learners to check our articles, blog and take up the book study sessions and also take the online courses if they see any value in them. Arhatic Alchemy is free of dogma, thus everyone is encouraged to practice discernment and not believe everything blindly shared with you. Few of the trusted systems of spiritual development has been shared below for the convenience of new learners.

THEOSOPHY

THEOSOPHY literally means Theo (God) + Sophia (Wisdom) = “Divine Wisdom.” It can be understood as the epitome of the esoteric teachings of all religions.

In the Oriental world it is called the Gupta Vidya, which can be translated as “Secret Knowledge”. This hidden esoteric Knowledge is only known to a chosen few. The Initiates and adepts of the Great White Brotherhood. These enlightened Initiates are entrusted with the work of the evolution of the Planet. In the 19th century, a Russian woman named Helena Petrovna Blavatsky (1831-1891) established the Theosophical society under the guidance of the Masters of Wisdom to share some of the esoteric doctrine with the outside world.The Theosophical Society which Madame Blavatsky founded was the first introduction of Esoteric spirituality to the Western world.The objectives of The Theosophical Society as stated in its constitution are:

 “i) To diffuse among men a knowledge of the laws inherent in the universe;

 ii)To promulgate the knowledge of the essential unity of all that is, and to demonstrate that this unity is fundamental in nature;

iii) To form an active brotherhood among men;

iv) To study ancient and modern religion, science, and philosophy;

v) To investigate the powers innate in man.”

AGNI YOGA

Agni Yoga (А́гни Йо́га) or the Living Ethics (Жива́я Э́тика) is an Esoteric doctrine transmitted by Helena Roerich and Nicholas Roerich around 1920. The term Agni Yoga means “Mergence with Divine Fire” or “Path to Mergence with Divine Fire”. The Teachings of Agni Yoga were given to the Roerich family and their associates by Master Morya, the guru of the Roerichs and of Helena Blavatsky, one of the founders of the modern Theosophical movement and one of the Masters of Wisdom of the Great White Brotherhood.

Agni Yoga is a path of practice in daily life. It is the yoga of fiery energy, of consciousness, of responsible, directed thought. It teaches that the evolution of the planetary consciousness is a pressing necessity and that, through individual striving, it is an attainable aspiration for mankind. According to Helena Roerich, Agni Yoga is the synthesis of all yogas. In all the ancient Hindu scriptures, the approaching Fiery Age was predicted. Agni–Fire, which to a varying degree is at the heart of all yogas, will saturate the atmosphere of our planet, and all the branches of yoga will be merged into a fiery synthesis. Agni Yoga is a fire baptism.

The most significant features of Agni Yoga are cosmism and universalism. They are expressed in the interpretation of any phenomena of human existence from the point of view of their cosmic significance and interrelation with the being of the universe.

The Path to Arhatship

“Practitioners who decide to walk on this Compassionate Path to Universal Knowledge & Wisdom – may experience a tremendous downpouring of Spiritual Energy. This occurs when a complete System for Spiritual Practices (or Sadhana in Sanskrit) is regularly followed.

When a Practitioner consciously begins to partake of different types of systematic Practices, this leads to Soul Development and they come to The Path to Arhatship.

Spiritual Practices lead to discovering:

  • The Fundamental causes of our Internal Suffering can be transformed into Inner Peace, Joy and Reconciliation – in both one’s personal and professional life.
  • Practitioners may more easily release their Illusion – that Worldly matters and objects are never Permanent. This permits the Practitioner to become serenely filled with a deeper level of Understanding and Acceptance – of the events that transpire in their daily lives.
  • Practitioners may finally reach a State of Inner Stillness and Peace – and will feel a reduction in their Emotional Turmoil including Stress – thereby allowing a greater degree of Flow in their lives.
  • Practitioners may also find a deeper sense of Appreciation for the Abundance in their own lives – particularly when they strive to “Serve” less fortunate people who are in need of help.

Spiritual Practice on The Path to Arhatship can rapidly accelerate the Development of one’s Body, Mind and Soul.”

THE UNIVERSAL GNOSTIC MOVEMENT

The word Gnosis is derived from the Greek language and means “knowledge of an intuitive nature” Gnosis is a knowledge that cannot be arrived at through books or lectures, but rather through one’s own direct experience of the Truth. This knowledge or wisdom, therefore, is not found outside of us, but within ourselves.

The Universal Gnostic Movement was founded by V.M Samael Aun Weor. His doctrine was based on the Esoteric Teachings and practices of Gnosis. In 1950, in his first two books, he became the first person to reveal the esoteric secret hidden in all the world’s great religions, and for that, accused of “healing the ill,” he was put in prison. Nevertheless, he did not stop.

Between 1950 and 1977 – merely twenty-seven years – not only did Samael Aun Weor write over sixty books on the most difficult subjects in the world, such as consciousness, kabbalah, physics, tantra, meditation, etc., in which he deftly exposed the singular root of all knowledge — which he called Gnosis — he simultaneously inspired millions of people across the entire span of Latin America: stretching across twenty countries and an area of more than 21,000,000 kilometers, founding schools everywhere, even in places without electricity or post offices.

During those twenty-seven years, he experienced all the extremes that humanity could give him, from adoration to death threats, and in spite of the enormous popularity of his books and lectures, he renounced an income, refused recognitions, walked away from accolades, and consistently turned away those who would worship him. He held as friends both presidents and peasants, and yet remained a mystery to all.

When one reflects on the effort and will it requires to perform even day to day tasks, it is astonishing to consider the herculean efforts required to accomplish what he did in such a short time. But, there is a reason: he was a man who knew who he was, and what he had to do.

His doctrine was having direct experience with the Truth and not a path of imitation or blind belief:

“I, Samael, am not in need of henchmen or followers, but only imitators of my doctrine: Gnosis. I do not follow anyone, nor do I want anyone to follow me. What I want is for each one of you to follow his own Self. I am only a lighthouse in the sea of existence, and I do not need clientele in order to subsist. Since I am against the slavery of souls, I do not want to enslave any soul, nor do I agree with executioners of ideals. Masters exists in abundance, and I am only one of many; thus, those who want to find the Masters will find them inside, within the profundities of their own inner consciousness.”

Anthroposophy

Anthroposophy is a philosophy founded by the 19th-century esotericist Dr Rudolf Steiner that postulates the existence of an objective, intellectually comprehensible spiritual world, accessible to human experience. Followers of anthroposophy aim to develop mental faculties of spiritual discovery through a mode of thought independent of sensory experience. They also aim to present their ideas in a manner verifiable by rational discourse and specifically seek a precision and clarity in studying the spiritual world mirroring that obtained by natural historians in investigations of the physical world.

The philosophy has its roots in Theosophy and mystical philosophies. Steiner chose the term anthroposophy (from anthropo-, human, and Sophia, wisdom) to emphasize his philosophy’s humanistic orientation. Dr Rudolf Steiner was a brilliant Clairvoyant. His works comprise of findings based on his Clairvoyant investigations and the revelation of the Esoteric Truths by reading the Akashic Records.

Anthroposophical ideas have been employed in alternative movements in many areas including education (both in Waldorf schools and in the Camphill movement), agriculturemedicinebankingorganizational development, and the arts. The main organization for advocacy of Steiner’s ideas, the Anthroposophical Society, is headquartered at the Goetheanum in DornachSwitzerland.

Arcane School

The Arcane School was founded by Alice Bailey. Once a member of the Theosophical Society, Alice Bailey penned 24 books on Esoteric Teachings, most of which was telepathically written through her by Master D.K.

“This school offers distant training for disciples who are pledged to do three things:

  • To serve humanity.
  • To co-operate with the Plan, as they see it and as best they can.
  • To develop the powers of the soul, to expand their consciousness to that of the higher self and to meet the needs of that higher self through service.

The Arcane School is primarily a distance learning course.  Students are guided through the meditations and course materials by the headquarters groups in London, New York and Geneva. In addition, each student is allocated a Secretary, a fellow student who is further ahead in the training and who will support and advise them through the early years of the course. All students are encouraged to think, meditate and search out the truth for themselves according to their own need and understanding, learning through acquired spiritual independence the significance of interdependence in group work.

The Arcane School trains people in meditation and service to develop their spiritual potential. The purpose of such training is to help students understand and accept discipleship responsibility and to recognise the part that they can play in the evolution of consciousness by serving humanity.”
